The carefully selected botanicals we forage give each of our expressions it’s unique and incredible flavours. Flavors like those soft subtlety-sweet floral notes of Forager’s Yellow Label, or that deep juniper-forward style of Forager’s Black label Gin. These have earned us awards and become our signature. What Forager’s Gin is renowned for.
That’s why we take a great deal of time over each and every batch. Why we spend months of each year foraging the finest, freshest botanicals that grow around us in the mountains and along coastline of North Wales, before being carefully and slowly craft distilled in copper stills. Nothing is rushed. Nor should it be.
Our aim has always been clear. To craft a small range of limited-release Gin. A small range of contempaory, but timeless-classics. That’s why we don’t chase fashions or fad’s. That’s why we don’t mass produce novelty ‘flavours’. Or launch new lines to follow trends. We stick to what we’re good at. Handcrafting limited-release premium gin. It is the same reason you won’t find Forager’s in super-markets or corporate-chains.
Since the very beginning we’ve never been overly keen on the the common, impersonal, distillery tour. So, we don’t do them. What we created instead was the Private Tastings: a chance for small private groups to come into our tasting rooms, spend some time with us, and taste their way through the Forager’s Gin range. We’ve since expanded this concept to Cocktail Masterclass and Backcountry Adventures, but we’ll always keep it small.
